To address some slow response times that we’ve noticed recently, we’ll perform a database update on Flix Cloud on Wednesday June 24th at 11PM Eastern US time.

IMPORTANT: Flix Cloud service WILL be interrupted forapproximately 30 minutes during the update.
Any jobs that are running at 11PM Eastern will be stopped and re-started when Flix Cloud comes back online.
Jobs that are submitted during the update, however, WILL NOT be processed or cached.
All data in the database at 11PM WILL be fully restored after the update.

We are always hesitant to take Flix Cloud completely offline and only do it as a last resort. It will not become a regular occurrence and we’re looking at ways to cache jobs should we ever need to take the database fully offline again.

By popular demand, we’ve added the following filter options to the Flix Cloud Recipe system:

• PNG thumbnail image creation
• Deinterlacing (adaptive, 1:2:1 blur, drop field)
• Keyframe intervals
• Cropping
• Noise reduction
• In/out cutting
• Hue, saturation, brightness, contrast
• Mirror/rotate
• Sharpen/blur

They’re all waiting for you in the Recipes tab of your Dashboard.
